My name is Paula Gumà, I've got a degree in Criminology in the promotion of the year 2018-2019. And I studied a master in Criminology and Criminal Enforcement. During my college years, I also cursed several studies in policial and psychological area, all cited in my resume attached to my letter.

Saw your ad in the "Van Guardia", on 11 April, with Ref 2.5.24 in applying agent first speech to the victim, in his curator. I am interested to offer my professional collaboration as I believe that my skills and qualities match the requested profile.

During my volunteering at the shelter for battered women in Gerona, worked in a demanding environment oriented first intervention in case of abuse of women and children in which I expanded my experience, acquiring new knowledge. Achieving organizational skills, teamwork and developing my empathic abilities to accommodate the victims, especially minors.

The previous experience has shown me that this is the area where I want to develop my expertise.

Concerning the offer to be a caregiver of disability children published in the Periodico newspaper, I'm writting to you to express my interest in joining the Associaton, Help of Disability Children.

The courses I did some time ago gave me some experience to be able to be prepared for the job.

This courses, like "Associaton in help for Disability Children" gave me some offers of jobs; In a associaton which is called "Els Dofins" in La Garriga. This Associaton's  purpose is to give children a special care and also to organise some fun activities.

I had the Advance Graduate in English, so in case it would be necessary to go abroad, I wouldn't have any problem.

This scope has always really interested me and I have always thought that at any time in my life, I would be able to work with these children. As I said before, taking part in this course allowed me to realize that I really like working with children. My point of view regarding this subject is now very clear and I would really love to dedicate my life helping them.

I have recently obtained the Graduate in Criminology and the Technical Certificate in Criminology. I made a course of Prevention and Violence with Women and Children in 2017 during 5 days, organized by the "Associació de Dones i Nens Maltractats" in Barcelona.

I saw the advertisment of your Agency in your web while I was looking for a job and I'm really interested in the "Agencia de Protección a Mujeres Maltratadas" because I'm specialized in this scope. My objective is, mostly, to help women who have been psychologically or phisically abused.

I have always been interested in this scope because people I know have suffered this type of violence in some periods of their lives. My people skills have always characterized me and I can always find the perfect words for each different victim. In my opinion, helping people is a very wonderful job, so I would like to help more women to go away from their condition. I'm a very empathic person so people use to tell me their problems, because I can solve them easily since they can trust me. One of my University friends suffered this type of violence and, as she said, if I hadn't been there she wouldn't have been able to face the problem without suffering any bad experience. This year I have made a course during 20 hours of Public Relations, organized by the "Asociació Mans Unides" of Barcelona. I must say that I did a course of "Qualitat en l'Atenció als Ciutadans" in 2018, organized by the "Asociació de Dones i Nens Maltractats" in Barcelona. One of all the courses I followed (which are in the curriculum) is the "Especialització en victimologia forense" in 2017 in the "Escuela de Policías Locales" in Barcelona. There, I learnt the theory which could be used in the worst conditions.I wouldn't have any problem in case I had to leave the country because I obtained the "Advanced in Enlgish" in 2014 in the "Escola Oficial d'Idiomes" in Barcelona.

For all the above mentioned, I have always known that I wanted to work on this scope, so it wasn't a sudden decision taken in a moment of desesperation. I would like to take part of this Agency, because it has always been my dream and I have all the necessary skills for this job. After reading the requirements for the job, I'm more convinced that it is the perfect job for a person like me.

Finally, I would like you to grant me an interview to enlarge the references of my curriculum and, this way, I could be able to tell you about my laboral experiencies and the new ideas I have. I would be thankful if the interview coukld take place in the next three weeks.
